The College of Phlebology, in collaboration with The Whiteley Clinic, is proud to announce the launch of a new training course focused specifically on Pelvic Vein Embolization. This one-day course offers medical professionals a unique opportunity to enhance their expertise in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) using embolization techniques.
The Pelvic Vein embolization Course is a comprehensive program designed to provide medical professionals with in-depth knowledge and theoretical understanding related to the management of PCS through embolization. The course will take place at The Whiteley Clinic Training Centre in London.
The course will be led by Honorary Prof. David Beckett, a renowned expert in venous disorders. With his extensive experience and expertise in PCS and embolization techniques, Prof. Beckett will guide participants through the intricacies of pelvic vein embolization, including patient selection, procedural planning, and the use of coils for embolization.
The Pelvic Vein embolization Course is primarily scheduled on Saturdays, allowing busy medical professionals to attend without interrupting their regular clinical practice. The one-day format ensures focused and efficient learning, maximizing the benefit for participants.
Throughout the course, participants will gain a deep understanding of PCS and the role of pelvic vein embolization in its management. The course will cover various topics, including the pathophysiology of PCS, diagnostic techniques such as pelvic venous ultrasound, patient assessment and selection, procedural planning, and the use of coil embolization for treatment.
To provide a comprehensive learning experience, the course includes observational sessions where participants will have the opportunity to observe pelvic vein embolization procedures using coils. These sessions will allow participants to closely observe the procedure and gain valuable insights from experienced practitioners.
The Pelvic Vein embolization Course offers CPD points through The College of Phlebology, ensuring the highest standards of education and professional development. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certification acknowledging their specialized training in pelvic vein embolization for the treatment of PCS.
Registration for the Pelvic Vein embolization Course is now open. Due to limited availability, early registration is strongly encouraged. For more information and to secure your place, please contact The Whiteley Clinic at email@example.com.
