The College of Phlebology, in collaboration with The Whiteley Clinic, proudly presents the enhanced Pelvic Congestion Syndrome Course. This comprehensive two-day program is meticulously designed to offer medical professionals an extended and immersive learning experience, focusing on both diagnostic practices and Pelvic Vein Embolisation techniques.

Course Overview:
The Pelvic Congestion Syndrome Course spans two days, providing participants with a holistic understanding of PCS. Day one is dedicated to diagnostics and theoretical presentations led by Chief Vascular Scientist, Judy Holdstock. Day two focuses on Pelvic Vein Embolisation techniques with Honorary Prof. David Beckett, a distinguished expert in the field.

Key Facilitators:

Day 1 – Diagnostics: Judy Holdstock, Chief Vascular Scientist, will guide participants through diagnostic practices and theoretical presentations, enriching their understanding of PCS from both practical and theoretical perspectives.

Day 2 – Pelvic Vein Embolisation: Honorary Prof. David Beckett, renowned for his expertise in venous disorders, will lead the second day’s sessions. Prof. Beckett will delve into the intricacies of Pelvic Vein Embolisation, covering patient selection, procedural planning, and the application of advanced techniques, including coil embolization.

Course Schedule:
Both the diagnostic and Pelvic Vein Embolisation sessions are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays, allowing flexibility for busy medical professionals. The course will take place at The Whiteley Clinic in both London and Guildford.

Participants will receive comprehensive insights into the pathophysiology of PCS, diagnostic techniques, patient assessment, and procedural planning. The second day will focus on advanced Pelvic Vein Embolisation techniques, offering a balanced blend of theory and practical applications.

Observational Experience:

The Pelvic Congestion Syndrome Course offers Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points through The College of Phlebology.
