Short Biography

Assoc. Prof. Luca Palombi was born in Rome to a mother who was an architect and a father who was a general surgeon. He completed his medical degree and specialized in Vascular Surgery in Rome. Over the years, he worked at several private healthcare facilities in Rome. Since 2017, Assoc. Prof. Palombi has been a vascular surgeon at the Angiology and Venous Surgery Service at Villa Salus Hospital in Mestre, Venice.

Assoc. Prof. Palombi is an active participant in the medical community, attending numerous national and international symposiums as both a listener and a speaker. He co-chairs the international symposium “Vein in Venice” and serves as the Scientific Director of Medi.Care Magazine. His research interests are reflected in his authorship of various scientific publications and texts.

Vascular surgery activities, with particular interest in minimally invasive phlebology, aesthetic phlebology, vascular diagnostics and wound care.
Outpatient and operating room activities at private facilities in Rome (Cura Vene Roma Medical Office, Villa del Lido Medical House, Casa di Cura Santo Volto and Villa Salaria Hospital) and at the Villa Salus Foundation Classified Hospital in Mestre Venice (affiliated with Public Health System).
Since 2017 he has been practicing as Vascular Surgeon at the Villa Salus Foundation Classified Hospital, Mestre (Ve), at the Angiology and Vascular Surgery Service. At this Service from 2018 to 2024, more than 3000 surgical procedures were performed for the minimally invasive treatment of venous pathologies.
